Ordering & Pricing

5 questions

You can place an order directly through our website by adding products to your cart. For large projects or custom configurations, we recommend requesting a quote through our contact page or reaching out to our sales team. Our specialists will guide you through material selection, finishes, and lead times.

For standard products, there is no minimum order quantity — you can order a single chair. For custom finishes or special configurations, the minimum order is typically 10 pieces. Contract and hospitality projects may have different requirements, which we'll discuss during the quotation process.

Yes, we offer a dedicated trade program for architects, interior designers, and hospitality procurement professionals. Trade partners receive preferential pricing, priority sampling, dedicated project management, and access to our full finish library. Apply through our contact page with your professional credentials.

Absolutely. We provide finish samples (wood, fabric, and leather swatches) free of charge. For product evaluation, we offer a sample chair program where you can order a single piece at a reduced rate. Samples are typically dispatched within 3–5 business days.

We accept wire transfers, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and PayPal. For contract orders, we offer net-30 terms for approved accounts. A 50% deposit is required to begin production on custom orders, with the balance due prior to shipment.

Customization & Finishes

Yes, all of our wooden furniture is available in a wide range of finishes. Our standard palette includes natural, walnut, oak, and dark walnut in both ash and beech. We also offer custom colour matching — send us a RAL or NCS code and we'll create a sample for your approval.

We work with a curated selection of performance fabrics, natural textiles, and premium leathers across multiple categories (Cat. A through Cat. E). We also accept COM (Customer's Own Material) for unique project requirements. All contract fabrics meet CATAS and Martindale abrasion standards.

Our R&D and prototyping team can work with architects and designers to develop bespoke pieces. This includes modified dimensions, custom finishes, unique material combinations, and branded details. Custom development typically requires a 12–16 week lead time and a minimum production run.

Ash is prized for its distinctive grain pattern and lighter weight — ideal for stackable chairs and designs where visual warmth is key. Beech offers a finer, more uniform grain and superior strength, making it the preferred choice for high-traffic hospitality settings and structural elements like armchairs.

Shipping & Delivery

4 questions

Standard products in stock finishes ship within 4–6 weeks. Custom finish orders require 8–10 weeks. Large contract orders are typically 10–14 weeks. We'll provide a confirmed delivery date once your order enters production. Express manufacturing is available for an additional fee.

Yes, we ship worldwide. We have established logistics partnerships for efficient delivery to Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. All shipments are professionally packed with custom protective crating for overseas transport. Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Each piece is individually wrapped in protective foam, placed in a custom-fitted cardboard carton, and palletized for transport. For international shipments, we use wooden crates to ensure safe transit. Stackable chairs are shipped in multi-unit packaging optimized for container loading.

Yes, we offer white-glove delivery service for residential and hospitality projects. This includes inside delivery, unpacking, assembly (if required), placement, and removal of all packaging materials. Available in select metropolitan areas — contact us for availability and pricing.

Care & Maintenance

3 questions

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth followed by a dry one. Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight or near heat sources. We recommend using coasters and placemats to protect surfaces. Annual treatment with a quality furniture oil will maintain the wood's lustre.

Vacuum upholstery regularly using a soft brush attachment. For spot cleaning, blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth — never rub. Use appropriate cleaning agents for your fabric type (check the care label). We provide detailed care instructions with every upholstered piece.

Our outdoor collection (Penelope) uses iroko wood and marine-grade hardware designed for exterior use. While these materials are naturally weather-resistant, we recommend covering or storing furniture during extreme weather and treating the wood with outdoor furniture oil at the start of each season.

Warranty & Returns

3 questions

All Chair4less products come with a 5-year structural warranty covering manufacturing defects in the frame, joints, and construction. Upholstery and finishes carry a 2-year warranty. Our warranty reflects our confidence in the durability and quality of our craftsmanship.

Standard products in stock finishes may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in original condition and packaging. Custom orders and COM upholstery are non-returnable. A restocking fee of 15% applies to returned items. Contact our customer service team to initiate a return.

Contact our customer service team via email at support@chair4less.com or through our website contact form. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs. We respond to all claims within 48 business hours and will arrange repair, replacement, or credit as appropriate.

Sustainability & Certifications

3 questions

The majority of our product range is FSC® certified (FSC-C012345), meaning the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests. We are committed to sustainable forestry and offer full chain-of-custody documentation for projects requiring environmental certification.

Our factory operates with a closed-loop dust extraction system, water-based finishes with low VOC emissions, and energy-efficient kilns. We recycle 95% of our wood waste as biomass fuel. Our packaging uses recycled cardboard and we're working toward carbon-neutral operations by 2030.

Yes, our products are tested and certified to EN 16139 (contract furniture), EN 1022 (stability), and EN 12520 (strength and durability). We also meet fire-retardancy requirements for hospitality applications (BS 7176, CAL 117). Full test reports are available upon request.
